The salvage of the Ever Given

In March 2021 the eyes of the world were on Boskalis during the salvage of the stranded mega containership Ever Given in the Suez Canal. A large group of experts from Boskalis and its subsidiary SMIT Salvage succeeded in refloating the vessel at spring tide, in cooperation with the Suez Canal Authority. This allowed the hundreds of waiting ships to continue their journey and a potential disaster for world trade was averted. 

This book, published by Boskalis, offers a look behind the scenes of this unique salvage operation. Based on interviews with a large number of people involved, combined with various photographs, the book paints a chronological picture of the various activities that took place on board the stranded vessel by the salvage team, the support team on shore in Egypt as well as the Boskalis offices.
